The four-month campaign has attracted more than 100,000 entries in its first two weeks, with weekly prizes and a N$50,000 grand prize up for grabs.

NAMIBIA – Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) in Namibia has launched its 2026 “Under the Cap” (UTC) promotional campaign, offering consumers a chance to win a share of N$1 million (US$61.46K) in cash prizes.
The nationwide promotion runs from 1 September to 31 December and has already recorded more than 100,000 entries within its first two weeks, according to the company.
The campaign builds on previous UTC promotions that rewarded more than 6,800 Namibians with prizes including home appliances, electronics and airtime over the past two years. This year’s campaign places greater emphasis on direct cash rewards.
The 2026 promotion includes a grand prize of N$50,000 and weekly cash giveaways throughout the four-month campaign.
Speaking at the media launch, which also featured previous campaign winners, Faith Nehanda, Senior Manager of Marketing at the Coca-Cola East and Central Africa Franchise, said the promotion recognises the loyalty of Namibian consumers.
“At Coca-Cola, we offer a wide variety of beverage choices for all lifestyles and occasions, while creating memorable experiences for our consumers. We’re excited to reward our loyal consumers in Namibia with their share of N$1 million in cash prizes, including weekly cash prizes of N$5,000,” Nehanda said.
She also highlighted Coca-Cola’s recent recognition at the inaugural Mobile Telecommunications Company (MTC) Branding and Marketing Excellence Awards, where its Share a Coke campaign received the Most Innovative Marketing Campaign award.
“The UTC promotion builds on the company’s strong connection with consumers across the country and is a way of celebrating that relationship by giving back to the people who have made its brands part of their everyday lives,” Nehanda added.
Henry Friedrich, General Manager of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa in Namibia, said the promotion was designed around consumers’ everyday experiences.
“The promotion is one of the ways we bring excitement to those everyday moments consumers already enjoy with Coca-Cola. It gives people across Namibia the opportunity to win while sharing in the refreshment and connection our brand represents,” Friedrich said.
Consumers can enter by purchasing participating 330ml, 500ml, 600ml, 1L, 1.25L or 2L plastic bottles of Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Fanta, Sprite, Twist, Sparletta or Stoney.
The campaign will run nationwide until 31 December 2026.
