Puranique Spirits enters Indian market with launch of Vodka and VSOP Cognac portfolio
Puranique Spirits debuts in India with two premium European-crafted products, marking its strategic expansion into the luxury spirits market.
INDIA – Puranique Spirits has officially announced its entry into the Indian market with the introduction of its flagship premium spirits portfolio.
The launch features two signature products: Puranique Vodka and Puranique VSOP Cognac, each crafted to reflect the brand’s commitment to exceptional quality and craftsmanship.
Puranique Vodka is distilled nine times to achieve a smooth finish, while Puranique VSOP Cognac showcases the brand’s French heritage and mastery of traditional distillation.
With these introductions, the company aims to bring its rich legacy of European distilling expertise to India, one of the fastest-growing premium spirits markets in the world.
The brand’s operations draw inspiration from two globally renowned regions: Cognac in France, known for producing fine Cognac, Armagnacs, and liqueurs, and the Scottish Highlands, home to Puranique’s award-winning gin, rum, absinthe, and akvavit.
According to Anoop Mohan, Promoter and CEO of Puranique Spirits India, the launch aligns with India’s growing appetite for refined and authentic drinking experiences.
“India is at the heart of the global premium spirits growth story. The timing is perfect to bring our European portfolio to Indian shores, marking a cultural bridge between French and Scottish craftsmanship and India’s evolving taste for fine spirits,” he said.
Viren Moholkar, Country Head for India, noted that the company’s debut marks the beginning of a broader portfolio expansion. “Our entry is not limited to two products. By the end of next year, we plan to introduce 24 premium offerings across categories,” he stated.
Puranique’s long-term India strategy includes expanding into five major categories, Cognac, Gin, Rum, Vodka, and Artisan Craft Spirits, tailored to meet the preferences of discerning Indian consumers.
