MBRF posts US$7.9B revenue, US$13.3M profit in Q2 2026

Food group records a quarterly sales volume of 2 million tonnes.

BRAZIL – MBRF reported net revenue of R$40.7 billion (US$7.85 billion) for the second quarter of 2026, while net income reached R$69 million (US$13.3 million).

The company also recorded its highest quarterly sales volume, with 2 million tonnes of food products sold during the three-month period.

The results followed continued changes in the company’s commercial and operational performance, alongside further work to realise synergies from the combination of Marfrig and BRF.

MBRF said the progress during the quarter provides a basis for pursuing further opportunities in the second half of the year, without specifying the areas it expects to prioritise.

The company continues to focus on improving efficiency across its operations while relying on its portfolio of established brands and its international distribution network.

MBRF was formed through the merger of Brazilian food companies Marfrig and BRF, bringing beef, poultry and pork operations together under one multi-protein business.

Its product range includes fresh and processed meats, hamburgers, salami, ham, and ready-to-eat meals, as well as margarine, pet food, and selected plant-based products.

The company’s brands include Sadia, Perdigão, Qualy, Sadia Bassi, National Beef, Banvit and Paty, covering several food categories and markets.

MBRF produces approximately 8 million to 8.2 million tonnes of food annually and supplies more than 425,000 customers in about 117 to 120 countries.

The group employs roughly 130,000 people and generates annual revenue of around R$160 billion to R$164 billion (US$30.8 billion to US$31.6 billion).

Its operations extend across Brazil, the United States and other international markets, covering activities throughout the food production and processing chain.

The second-quarter figures come as MBRF continues integrating the businesses brought together through the Marfrig and BRF combination while seeking further gains from its expanded multi-protein platform.
