Available in grocery and mass retail stores starting February 2026

USA – Conagra Brands, Inc., the Chicago-based packaged food company, introduced a new line of Banquet MEGA Breakfast Bowls designed to provide 30 grams of protein per serving.
The launch includes four varieties: Meat Lovers, Bacon, Sausage, and Sausage & Gravy, each combining eggs, potatoes, and cheese with different meats or sauces.
Banquet MEGA Breakfast Bowls are intended for consumers seeking convenient, protein-rich breakfast options in the $626 million frozen breakfast bowls market.
Each bowl is prepared using a tray-in-tray system that keeps sauces and ingredients separate while frozen and allows them to steam together in the microwave.
The technology ensures eggs remain fluffy, potatoes cook evenly, and meats stay moist, while the user mixes the sauce with the other ingredients after heating.
Meat Lovers features scrambled eggs, cooked sausage, roasted potatoes, ham, bacon, cheddar cheese sauce, and shredded cheddar, while Bacon includes eggs, potatoes, bacon, cheddar sauce, and shredded cheese.
Sausage includes scrambled eggs, cooked sausage, roasted potatoes, cheddar cheese sauce, and shredded cheese. Sausage & Gravy combines eggs, cooked sausage, roasted potatoes, country gravy, and shredded cheese.
Conagra highlights that the bowls provide about 25% more food than the leading frozen breakfast bowl brand, emphasizing quantity alongside protein content.
The company reported that protein is the top factor influencing consumer choices in the frozen breakfast category, according to NPD data through May 2025.
Banquet, already a market leader in single-serve frozen meals, breakfast pot pies, and cooked sausage links, is positioning the MEGA Breakfast Bowls to expand its presence in the morning meal segment.
Tim Nangle, vice president and general manager of Conagra Brands, said the new bowls respond to demand for convenient, high-protein options that can be prepared in minutes.
The Banquet MEGA Breakfast Bowls will appear on shelves in grocery and mass retail stores throughout February 2026.
Conagra Brands, which generated nearly US$12 billion in net sales during fiscal 2025, manages a portfolio that includes Birds Eye, Duncan Hines, Healthy Choice, Marie Callender’s, Reddi-wip, Slim Jim, and Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP.
