Company Profile and Operations

KRDI, also operating under the name Nahr Al-Khair Company, is an Egyptian joint‑stock firm established in 2011 and based in Cairo that conducts agricultural investment and land reclamation services.

In its livestock segment, the company raises a variety of animals, including cattle, sheep, and goats, for breeding, dairy output, fattening and fresh meat supply, and holds biological assets related to sheep and goats to support these activities.

The company’s livestock programme prepares animals for slaughter to provide beef and mutton, and implements breeding strategies to produce both milk and meat while leveraging reclaimed land to maintain sustainable feed and grazing resources.

KRDI also operates poultry facilities covering breeding and hatching, broiler and layer farming, and egg production, with outputs including chicken meat, table eggs, and day‑old chicks for sale or further rearing.

The company’s main marketed products are fresh red meat from fattened livestock, poultry meat, dairy milk, table eggs and hatching eggs, as well as live breeding stock and day‑old chicks, which it moves through its own markets and sales outlets specialising in agricultural and rural goods.

KRDI’s distribution network supports its integrated operations by supplying agricultural inputs and linking primary production to local demand for meat, poultry and dairy products.

In contrast, livestock and poultry activities operate alongside broader crop, vegetable, and fruit production, as well as environmental service offerings.
