HCCB launches its fastest Kinley production line at the Avinya plant, boosting capacity, efficiency and sustainability while strengthening its manufacturing footprint in Telangana.

INDIA – Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Private Limited (HCCB) has announced the commissioning of a high-speed Kinley water production line at its Avinya manufacturing facility in Telangana, marking a significant milestone in its supply chain expansion.
Located in Banda Thimmapur in Siddipet district, the Avinya plant—also known as the Telangana Greenfield Factory (TGF)—is one of the company’s most advanced facilities.
Built with a total planned investment of over Rs 2,000 crore, the site currently operates seven production lines and represents a key addition to HCCB’s manufacturing network in India.
The company stated that the newly commissioned line is now the fastest within the Coca-Cola India Southwest Asia (INSWA) system. “The newly installed line can produce Kinley 500 ml PET bottles at a speed of up to 1,350 bottles per minute (BPM) and Kinley 1-litre PET bottles at 1,000 BPM, setting a new benchmark for manufacturing speed, operational efficiency, and precision production capacity,” the company said in a statement.
Avinash Kant Kumar, Head – Integrated Supply Chain at HCCB, highlighted the significance of the development. “Avinya sets a new national benchmark in beverage manufacturing by merging high-tech automation with sustainable resource management. The launch of our Kinley production line, the fastest in the Coca-Cola INSWA system, marks a big milestone for HCCB,” he said.
He added, “This facility reinforces our commitment to Telangana’s industrial growth and our dedication to world-class operational excellence.”
The production line is built on an integrated automation framework designed to enhance process visibility, consistency, and control. It incorporates a water purification system featuring mineral injection and ozonisation technology to maintain product quality standards.
HCCB noted that advanced lamella pack technology enables up to 90% water recovery, supporting its sustainability goals. The system also includes a human-machine interface for centralised monitoring, along with an advanced dosing system to improve packaging stability and product integrity.
The Avinya facility complements HCCB’s existing operations in Ameenpur, strengthening its footprint in Telangana. Together, the facilities support employment for more than 1,000 people and underline the company’s focus on building a technology-driven, agile and future-ready supply chain.
