Saudi agrifood company reports higher sales while costs and lower poultry prices weigh on margins

SAUDI ARABIA – Tanmiah Food Group reported a 3.5% rise in total revenue for the financial year ending December 2025, reaching over US$708 million.
The company’s revenue growth was led by its Restaurant Operations, which recorded a 42% increase in sales compared with 2024.
Agribusiness sales rose 1.3% year-on-year, supported by a 12% growth in Fresh Poultry volumes, even as selling prices remained under pressure.
Revenue from Animal Feed & Health Products declined slightly to just under US$116 million for the year.
Gross profit for the group fell 7.7% to just under US$161 million, while operating profit decreased to US$25 million, about half the 2024 level.
Tanmiah attributed lower profitability to price pressure on Fresh Poultry, higher operational and financing costs, and depreciation of new facilities, which were only partially offset by increased output and efficiency measures.
In the fourth quarter of 2025, total revenue reached nearly US$190 million, marking a 4.1% increase over the same period in 2024.
Fresh Poultry output rose almost 19% to 46.7 million birds in the quarter, helping to compensate for falling selling prices.
The Restaurant segment contributed to the quarterly revenue increase with a 30% rise, aided by the opening of seven additional Popeyes outlets in the last three months of 2025.
The group recorded a net loss of US$6 million in Q4, with US$3.6 million attributed to Restaurant Operations and US$2.8 million linked to Agribusiness and Animal Feed & Health Products.
Tanmiah Food is a major poultry producer in the Middle East and the agricultural holding company for Al-Dabbagh Group, which oversees subsidiaries including Agricultural Development Co. and Supreme Foods Processing Co.
