The partnership targets red meat supply stability and alternative feed development.

USA – Saudi Arabia’s Tanmiah Food Company has entered into a cooperation agreement with Big Idea Ventures, a global investment firm focused on food, agriculture, and alternative protein technologies, during the recent US Saudi Investment Forum in Washington, D.C.
The arrangement sets up a framework for both companies to pursue projects that support Saudi Arabia’s long term food security goals, particularly around shoring up supplies of red meat and reducing dependence on imported feed materials.
Tanmiah and Big Idea Ventures plan to evaluate possible equity stakes in established red meat producers based in the United States, pending financial, legal, and operational review to determine suitability for investment.
The two parties also intend to study opportunities in upstream assets such as feedlots, breeding herds, and related infrastructure as Saudi Arabia continues to seek more reliable and sustainable red meat supply channels.
A second focus area of the cooperation involves creating a local agricultural system capable of growing alternative feed ingredients, which Tanmiah says would help cut the country’s exposure to external feed markets and support more cost efficient poultry and dairy operations.
Tanmiah CEO Zulfiqar Hamadani said the partnership allows the company to connect with global expertise at a time when demand for sustainable and locally anchored solutions is rising, adding that the deal also opens access to additional capital and merger and acquisition prospects in the United States.
Tanmiah Managing Director and CHRO Zein Attar said the agreement aligns with the national push to build a more secure and self sustaining food sector by combining international knowledge with the country’s expanding agricultural capabilities.
Big Idea Ventures founder Andrew D. Ive said Saudi Arabia is becoming an active market for food technology and sustainable agriculture, noting that the firm aims to support projects that strengthen local feed production and supply chains linked to Vision 2030.
