Australian Distillers Association appoints Kylie Lethbridge as new General Manager

AUSTRALIA – The Australian Distillers Association (ADA) has appointed Kylie Lethbridge as its new general manager, effective 27 October 2025.
Lethbridge brings more than 25 years of experience in leadership, advocacy, and strategic development, with a record of advancing industry interests and building future-focused organisations.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Kylie to the Australian Distillers family,” said ADA President Holly Klintworth.
“Her energy, experience, and deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Australian distillers make her ideally suited to this role. Kylie brings a clear vision and a collaborative leadership style that align perfectly with the ADA’s goals.”
Most recently, Lethbridge served as chief executive officer of the Independent Brewers Association, where she oversaw a period of growth and transformation, enhancing the national profile and influence of independent brewers.
She has also worked extensively across all levels of government and held senior roles in national industry bodies, driving economic development, policy reform, trade, and investment outcomes for Australian producers.
Her career includes the delivery of major industry events such as BrewCon and the Independent Beer Awards, which have helped showcase innovation in the sector.
“I am thrilled to be so warmly welcomed and look forward to dedicating my time and energy to supporting artisan producers, small businesses, and the people who work so hard to pursue their passion,” Lethbridge said.
“With significant opportunity, an inspired cohort of members, and the leadership of the board, I’m confident that together, we can achieve great things.”
Her appointment signals ADA’s commitment to implementing its next phase of growth and increasing industry influence. It comes just months after the association underwent a restructuring, during which former business lead Paul McLeay resigned by mutual agreement.
Four Pillars co-founder and former master distiller Cameron Mackenzie was appointed interim general manager at that time and will continue to serve in the role as needed until Lethbridge assumes the position in October.
