CoCo Bubble Tea launches first Middle East store in Jordan

Global bubble tea brand opens its first Middle East outlet in Amman, with plans for UAE and North Africa expansion.

JORDAN – CoCo Bubble Tea, one of the world’s leading bubble tea brands, has officially entered the Middle East market with the opening of its first store in Amman, Jordan, this September.

The move marks the beginning of the company’s long-term strategy to grow across the region while supporting local franchise partners.

As the popularity of bubble tea continues to rise globally, the new outlet allows CoCo to introduce its signature pearl milk tea refreshments to Middle Eastern consumers.

“We are just beginning in the Middle East, but we aspire to one day have as robust a franchise network here as we do globally,” said Kody Wong, Director of Business Development at CoCo Bubble Tea.

The Jordan store will debut a streamlined menu, offering a curated selection of drinks designed to enhance customer experience while simplifying operations. This approach aims to reduce complexity for franchise partners, making the model more efficient and sustainable.

To meet local needs, the outlet will also utilize Halal-certified raw materials, ensuring alignment with cultural and dietary preferences in the region.

In addition, CoCo has developed a custom training and operations framework tailored for Middle Eastern franchisees. The program focuses on simplifying onboarding, improving efficiency, and helping partners maintain CoCo’s global standards while adapting to local culture.

The Amman opening is the first step in CoCo’s broader regional expansion. The brand has confirmed plans to enter the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and North Africa, reflecting its commitment to building a strong Middle Eastern presence that complements its global footprint.
