The initiative offers live cooking experiences and product tastings across Kenya.

KENYA – Farmer’s Choice Limited, one of East Africa’s largest producers of fresh and processed meat, has introduced the “Moments Made to Last” Cookout Series to celebrate its ongoing operations in Kenya.
The nationwide activation, taking place in supermarkets and community spaces, aims to showcase Kenyan food culture through interactive cooking demonstrations and tasting sessions.
The event highlights nearly fifty years of the company’s work in supplying affordable animal protein while promoting sustainable practices and innovation in meat production.
During the launch, Farmer’s Choice CEO Felisters Gitau Mutugu explained that the initiative focuses on making nutritious meat products accessible to households across the country.
Mutugu said the company’s offerings are designed to provide both quality and affordability, emphasizing responsible sourcing and preparation rather than only taste.
The Cookout Series will offer attendees cooking tips, festive meal ideas, and opportunities to sample meals prepared with Farmer’s Choice products, creating an interactive culinary experience.
The company continues to work closely with local farmers by supplying improved pig genetics, subsidized feed, and advisory services to enhance production and incomes.
Farmer’s Choice applies a grading system for livestock that assesses weight, back fat, and bone-to-meat ratio, which allows farmers to earn over US$1,250 per cow.
The company collaborates with distributors and stockists across all 47 counties to ensure its products are available in supermarkets, hotels, and retail outlets nationwide.
Mutugu added that the Cookout Series is intended to celebrate the connection between the brand, communities, and consumers while reflecting the company’s long-standing market presence.
The activations are scheduled to continue throughout the festive season at key retail and community locations, aiming to maintain engagement with shoppers and support local farmers.
