Nestlé launches Carnation pistachio flavour to elevate dessert experiences

The launch aligns with the growing consumer demand for pistachio-flavoured products projected to reach US$7.16 billion by 2030.

UK – Nestlé is expanding its dessert innovation portfolio with the launch of Carnation Pistachio Flavour Drizzle, a premium dessert sauce that blends roasted pistachio flavour with creamy condensed milk. 

The new addition is designed for versatility, catering to both professional bakers and home dessert enthusiasts who want to enhance their creations with a rich, nutty touch.

The Pistachio Flavour Drizzle can be used across a wide range of sweet applications, from drizzling over pancakes, cheesecakes, and ice cream sundaes to serving as a dipping sauce for churros or fruit salads. 

It also lends itself perfectly to beverages, offering a simple way to elevate frappes, lattes, and milkshakes with decorative swirls that appeal to visually driven consumers.

Danielle McAreavey, Head of Marketing for Carnation UK & Ireland, said the product brings convenience and creativity together.

Packaged in a multi-serve squeezy bottle, the drizzle ensures ease of use and portion control, ideal for busy kitchens and cafés aiming to streamline dessert preparation without compromising quality. 

The new product joins Carnation’s existing drizzle flavours of caramel, chocolate fudge, and classic condensed milk, reaffirming the brand’s position as a leader in dessert innovation.

The launch also aligns with the growing consumer demand for pistachio-flavoured products, which have seen a significant surge in popularity across the UK. 

Waitrose recently reported a 500% year-on-year increase in online searches for “pistachio,” while Mordor Intelligence projects the global pistachio market to reach US$7.16 billion by 2030.

Carnation Pistachio Flavour Drizzle will be available at B&M, Home Bargains, and Amazon from mid-October. 

Founded in 1899 and acquired by Nestlé in 1984, Carnation continues to evolve its dessert offerings, recently partnering with the Food Network to celebrate nostalgic recipes that bring families together.
