SVZ integrates Netra Agro to strengthen tropical fruit ingredient offering

NETHERLANDS – Premium fruit and vegetable ingredients supplier SVZ has announced the integration of Netra Agro, its tropical fruit specialist subsidiary, into the core SVZ portfolio. 

The process, which has already begun, is expected to be fully completed by early 2026 and will ensure uninterrupted service for customers worldwide.

Netra Agro has operated under SVZ for nearly three decades, providing sustainably sourced tropical fruit ingredients such as mango, banana, and pineapple in a variety of formats, including Individually Quick Frozen (IQF) pieces, purees, and concentrates. 

By absorbing Netra Agro’s operations, SVZ aims to consolidate its position as a one-stop supplier, offering customers a wider range of high-quality fruit and vegetable ingredients with the added advantage of global procurement, production, and distribution scale.

A key part of the integration is the addition of Netra Agro’s logistics expertise in handling tropical fruits, which will enhance SVZ’s ability to serve multinational food and beverage producers. 

These ingredients are widely used across various applications, including fruit juices, smoothies, dairy products, bakery fillings, sauces, and plant-based alternatives, where demand for natural and sustainable formulations continues to increase.

SVZ highlighted that customers of both companies stand to benefit from the move. Existing SVZ partners will now gain direct access to premium tropical fruit ingredients. 

At the same time, Netra Agro’s customer base will enjoy the expanded capabilities and infrastructure of a global supplier without compromising on the service and quality they are accustomed to.

The company also reaffirmed that sustainability remains a central part of its strategy. 

Netra Agro’s sourcing practices will continue to align with SVZ’s broader commitment to responsible agriculture, environmental stewardship, and supply chain transparency.
