Wenzel’s Farm launches new meat PRO snack stick line in four flavors

The small-batch meat snack maker adds a high-protein offering to its product range.
Each stick contains 16g of protein and retails at US$2.69

USA – Wenzel’s Farm, a meat snack company based in Wisconsin and owned by Castleray Co., is rolling out a new line of meat sticks under the name PRO Snack Stick.

The launch includes four flavor options—Original, Teriyaki, Jalapeno Cheddar, and Pepperoni—each combining beef and pork in a 1.9-ounce (54g) single-serve pack.

According to the company, each stick contains 16 grams of protein and is priced at US$2.69 (US$).

Company president Mark Vieth said the aim was to create a high-protein, low-sugar meat snack for consumers seeking a protein boost, whether for performance or dietary needs.

He added that the company is pleased with the result, highlighting the product’s flavor and texture.

The PRO Snack Stick is the latest addition to Wenzel’s broader portfolio, which includes 14 types of beef snack sticks, three varieties of venison sticks, and five kinds of jerky.

Wenzel’s products are known for being made in small batches with carefully selected cuts of meat that are seasoned and smoked using hardwood.

This production method is part of the brand’s long-standing approach, rooted in a tradition dating back to 1949.

The company’s origins trace back even further, to when the Wenzel family brought sausage-making practices from Germany to Wisconsin more than a century ago.

Today, Wenzel’s continues to operate out of its original facility in Marshfield, located in the center of the state’s dairy region.

Recent Product Expansion

Last June, Wenzel’s introduced a line of venison snack sticks available in Original, Teriyaki, and Jalapeno Cheddar flavors.

These venison sticks are made from grass-fed deer meat and are gluten-free, positioned as a high-protein snack for on-the-go consumption.

At the time, Vieth stated that the company was responding to growing demand for venison products while keeping the packaging aligned with the look of Wenzel’s core product line.
