Nestlé launches Nescafé KitKat White Latte and Lion Mocha

Nestlé expands its confectionery-inspired coffee portfolio with two new Nescafé frothy beverages, backed by increased UK manufacturing capacity and continued sustainability progress.

UK – Nestlé has expanded its instant coffee portfolio with the launch of two new confectionery-inspired beverages: Nescafé KitKat White Flavour Latte and Nescafé Lion Flavour Mocha.

The new sachet-based frothy coffee drinks combine the Nescafé brand with two of Nestlé’s well-known confectionery products, offering consumers new at-home indulgent coffee options.

Priced at a recommended retail price of £2.35 for a pack of seven 20g sachets, the latest launches build on Nestlé’s growing range of co-branded coffee products within the hot beverages category.

The additions follow previous confectionery-inspired innovations, including Aero Peppermint Mocha, Quality Street Green Triangle Mocha and KitKat collaborations for the Dolce Gusto coffee system.

The launches are supported by Nestlé UK’s recent £28 million (US$331.90 million) investment in its Dalston manufacturing facility, which has expanded production capacity and strengthened the company’s ability to accelerate product innovation.

Ingrid Hayes, Marketing Director for Nescafé UK and Ireland, said consumer demand continues to drive the company’s confectionery-inspired coffee portfolio.

“Our Nestlé confectionery-inspired launches have been some of our most successful new product development in recent years, helping us bring hundreds of thousands of new shoppers into the coffee category,” Hayes said.

She added: “With KitKat White Latte and Lion Mocha, we’re building on that strong foundation, and with the investment we’ve made in our UK manufacturing, we’re well placed to keep bringing exciting new products to market. We’re looking forward to seeing consumers enjoy these latest additions.”

The product launches come shortly after Nestlé reported continued progress under its Nescafé Plan 2030 sustainability programme.

According to the company’s latest progress report, 53% of Nescafé’s green coffee was sourced from farmers adopting regenerative agriculture practices during 2025, reflecting increased procurement from participating growers and expanded field support programmes across coffee-producing regions.

Nestlé also reported an 18.3% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from green coffee compared with its 2018 baseline, demonstrating continued progress in reducing the environmental footprint of its coffee supply chain.

Additionally, the report stated that 94.3% of Nescafé coffee was responsibly sourced, with green coffee traceable to farmer groups and independently certified or verified in accordance with Nestlé’s responsible sourcing standards.

The company said these initiatives continue to support sustainable coffee production while strengthening transparency throughout its global supply chain.
