QATAR – Mwani Qatar ports have recorded a remarkable spike in activity during July 2026, with general cargo shipments surging by 176% compared to June, as the maritime facilities managed by the state-owned operator experienced significant growth and high productivity across Hamad, Ruwais, and Old Doha ports.
According to figures released by Mwani Qatar on the monthly port performance for July 2026, the total number of vessels across the three major hubs stood at 118. General cargo handled reached 63,763 tons, while bulk cargo exceeded 44,000 tons, reaching 44,668 tons, and containers processed totalled 51,933 TEUs.
The ports also handled 11 units of RORO (Roll-on/Roll-off) and 2,055 heads of livestock, illustrating the broad operational scope of the region’s shipping infrastructure.
