In Morocco, FPS MEA is opening its second facility in the central region to serve as a logistics hub for equipment, spare parts, and inventory across the Middle East and Africa, with operations starting in January 2026.
GEM Equipment, a subsidiary based in Oregon, is renovating its Mt. Angel site, with the 110,000 ft² (10,200 m²) facility expected to be ready by Spring 2026 to house manufacturing operations, inventory, and office space.
FPS Brazil is preparing a 29,000 ft² (2,700 m²) location in São Paulo within a major industrial technology park, set to begin offering manufacturing, spare parts, and office services by Summer 2026.
In China, FPS recently broke ground in Zhongshan, Guangdong, for a nine-story, 119,000 ft² (11,100 m²) facility that will include a food production platform, research and development labs, a global training center, and a technological command center for remote monitoring, scheduled for completion in Autumn 2026.
FPS Europe is expanding its plant in Goes, the Netherlands, to increase manufacturing and storage capacity to 61,000 ft² (5,700 m²), with work expected to conclude by the end of 2026.
The company, founded in 2010, currently operates over 1,280,000 ft² (119,000 m²) across 23 sites worldwide and employs more than 1,000 staff, delivering end-to-end food processing solutions across six continents.
The company has been active since last year.
In mid-last year, FPS signed an agreement with Saudi Arabian food giant Almarai Co. Ltd to supply poultry processing equipment, including a Carton Continuous Flow Freezer for boxed whole fresh poultry, with installation scheduled for 2025.
Almarai, which markets its poultry under the Alyoum brand, distributes products in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Kuwait, and FPS will provide equipment designed to meet the company’s operational requirements in the poultry sector.
The partnership with Almarai represents FPS’s ongoing strategy to expand its operations in the Gulf region and to offer specialized solutions for poultry processing clients in the Middle East.
