Lavazza opens coffee training center in Dallas to expand U.S. presence

The new facility strengthens Lavazza’s footprint in North Texas and supports baristas, partners, and hospitality professionals.

USA – Lavazza has officially opened a new state-of-the-art Training Center in Dallas, Texas, marking a significant step in the company’s continued expansion across the United States and its efforts to promote coffee education worldwide.

The Dallas facility becomes the latest addition to Lavazza’s global coffee training network, the largest of its kind, joining North American locations in New York, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, West Chester in Pennsylvania, and Toronto.

The opening reflects Lavazza’s strategy to strengthen its presence in high-growth U.S. markets while supporting its long-standing mission of elevating coffee culture.

Equipped with Lavazza’s most advanced espresso machines, brewing systems, and coffee innovation tools, the Training Center is designed to serve as a regional hub for industry professionals.

It will host hands-on training sessions, certification programs, menu development workshops, and education on emerging coffee trends for baristas, distributors, partners, and coffee enthusiasts across the Southwest.

Daniele Foti, Vice President of Marketing at Lavazza North America, said Dallas represents a strong growth opportunity for the brand due to its rapidly expanding hospitality and culinary scene.

He noted that the investment highlights Lavazza’s commitment to the region and to the partners who deliver the brand’s coffee experience daily.

The Dallas Training Center also supports Lavazza’s broader global mission of spreading coffee culture through education. With seven Training Centers in Italy and dozens worldwide, the company’s network serves culinary professionals, hospitality leaders, distributors, and coffee specialists seeking advanced training.

The new center will offer hands-on workshops, SCA-certified learning pathways, and creative programming tailored to local market needs while aligning with global coffee trends.

Hossam Ashraf, President of Lavazza North America, described Dallas as a dynamic and fast-evolving coffee market. He said the new facility represents an investment not only in the company’s business operations but also in the people, skills, and creativity that drive the local coffee industry.

Lavazza already works with several well-known hospitality and dining groups in Dallas, including Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, Coury Hospitality Group, Al Biernat’s Steakhouse, and Vandelay Hospitality.

The Training Center will support these relationships and expand collaboration across the wider Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Earlier this year, Lavazza also began serving American Airlines, headquartered in Fort Worth, further strengthening its presence in North Texas.

The new Training Center will enable closer support for partners and consistent development of high-quality coffee programs through ongoing training and collaboration.
