Campa’s Australian debut expands Reliance Consumer Products’ overseas beverage footprint as the brand continues its international growth beyond India.

AUSTRALIA – Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Industries Limited, has launched its Campa beverage brand in Australia, expanding the Indian brand’s international footprint.
The launch gives Australian consumers access to Campa through New Sunrise, a petrol and convenience retail network with more than 1,200 member stores across the country. New Sunrise is the first petrol and convenience retail network in Australia to introduce Campa across its stores.
The rollout follows RCPL’s international expansion of Campa, which has been growing across beverage categories and overseas markets. The company acquired Campa in 2022 and relaunched the brand in India in 2023, subsequently expanding its portfolio beyond carbonated soft drinks to include juices and packaged drinking water.
RCPL had earlier confirmed that Campa cans were being manufactured in Australia ahead of the local launch. Ketan Mody, Executive Director of RCPL, said: “We have now officially manufactured Campa cans in Australia. We will be doing a launch at the end of this month.”
Campa is now available nationwide through approximately 1,200 New Sunrise petrol and convenience stores, giving RCPL access to a retail distribution network and Australia’s convenience and on-the-go beverage market.
The Australian launch follows Campa’s growing presence in international markets, including the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Nepal and Sri Lanka. RCPL has said the brand continues to expand into new markets as it builds its international consumer-goods business.
The company’s expansion comes as Campa continues to contribute to RCPL’s beverage business. During the June quarter of FY2027, Campa generated Rs 2,900 crore in sales, accounting for nearly one-third of RCPL’s total revenue.
Campa has become one of RCPL’s key brands. Its Australian rollout adds another market to its international distribution network and gives New Sunrise stores access to an Indian beverage brand with a nearly five-decade legacy.
RCPL has expanded into other consumer categories. It launched Bombay Creamery, an ice cream brand, with products including cones, cups, tubs, bars and sticks. The range is available in Western India, with the company planning a wider rollout across the country.
The Australian launch marks a step in RCPL’s efforts to expand Campa beyond India and strengthen its presence in international beverage markets.
