Corby Spirit and Wine names Florence Tresarrieu as CEO, succeeding Nicolas Krantz from January.

FRANCE – French spirits group Pernod Ricard has named Florence Tresarrieu as the incoming chief executive officer of its Canadian subsidiary, Corby Spirit and Wine.
Tresarrieu, who currently serves as global senior vice president of investor relations at Pernod Ricard, will assume her new role in January. She succeeds Nicolas Krantz, who will take on new responsibilities within the wider organization, according to an official announcement.
Krantz has led Corby since 2020 and previously held key leadership roles across Pernod Ricard, including managing director of Pernod Ricard Winemakers Spain and chief financial officer for the company’s EMEA and LATAM regions.
During his tenure, Corby strengthened its position in the Canadian market and expanded its ready-to-drink (RTD) portfolio.
Corby board chairman Lucio Di Clemente welcomed the appointment, stating that Tresarrieu’s extensive financial and leadership experience will support the company’s next phase of growth.
“She will guide Corby into its next chapter, build on our strong foundation and drive continued momentum, growth, and innovation,” he said. Tresarrieu will also join Corby’s board of directors upon taking office.
Di Clemente expressed appreciation for Krantz’s leadership and confirmed he will remain on the board, ensuring continuity and continued access to his insights. The leadership transition arrives during a period of mixed performance for Pernod Ricard in the Americas.
While the broader region experienced an organic sales decline of 12% to €641 million (US$741.61M) during the first quarter, Canada recorded strong gains, supported by RTD brands and continued momentum from labels such as Jameson and Absolut.
Corby Spirit and Wine, based in Toronto, is a prominent producer, marketer, and distributor of spirits, wines, and RTD beverages. Its portfolio features Pike Creek whisky, Polar Ice vodka, Lamb’s rum, and Nude RTDs, acquired from MXM Beverages in August 2024.
Through Pernod Ricard’s majority ownership, Corby also distributes global brands including Absolut, Chivas Regal, and The Glenlivet in the Canadian market.
