NIGERIA – Chowdeck, Nigeria’s premier on-demand delivery service, has entered into a partnership with Chicken Republic, a well-known quick-service restaurant chain.
This collaboration promises to deliver higher quality and more affordable meals to customers in Lagos and Ibadan.
Chowdeck, which already manages logistics for Chicken Republic in eight Nigerian cities, strengthens its position as a preferred delivery partner through this agreement.
Leveraging its advanced technology and logistics, Chowdeck aims to provide customers in Lagos and Ibadan with lower delivery costs and competitive meal prices.
The partnership also includes periodic in-app discounts and opportunities to earn Chowscore points through Chowdeck’s loyalty program, adding value for regular users.
This partnership allows Chicken Republic to expand its customer base, ensuring more people can enjoy their meals.
The collaboration is expected to boost daily sales and enhance customer engagement while catering to the growing demand for online food delivery in Nigeria, which is projected to reach 52 million users by 2029.
Customers can anticipate more efficient and reliable deliveries, with meals arriving hot and fresh.
Femi Aluko, CEO and co-founder of Chowdeck, emphasized the significance of the partnership.
“This collaboration highlights our dedication to providing high-quality, efficient, and convenient services. By merging our extensive delivery network with Chicken Republic’s offerings, we aim to enhance the customer experience and bring joy to more people across Lagos and Ibadan.”
Chowdeck connects food vendors with consumers, facilitating the delivery of meals from various restaurants to customers’ doorsteps.
Founded in October 2021 and supported by Y Combinator, Chowdeck has streamlined the food delivery process, making it easier for consumers to access their favorite meals while driving growth and profitability for food vendors.
Since its launch, the company has gained over 600,000 users and employs more than 3,000 riders who serve cities including Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, Port Harcourt, Ilorin, Benin City, Abeokuta, and Asaba.
