INDIA – Blue Tribe is introducing its new Plant-Based Chicken Momos, offering a plant-based alternative to traditional chicken dumplings.
These momos are designed to replicate the taste and texture of classic Darjeeling momos while using plant-based ingredients.
The company has established a significant presence in India with partnerships including Nature’s Basket, Benzers, Foodhall, and Society Stores.
The new product aims to provide a sustainable and flavorful option that aligns with eco-friendly practices.
The company reports that these momos are created with premium plant-based proteins to emulate the texture and flavor of real chicken.
They are seasoned with traditional Darjeeling spices and herbs, promising an aromatic and flavorful experience.
The momos are prepared for consumption in a matter of minutes, catering to those seeking a quick meal or snack.
They contain no cholesterol, hormones, or antibiotics, positioning them as a clean and wholesome choice that is completely free of animal products.
Blue Tribe’s Plant-Based Chicken Momos are now available for purchase online through their website and at major retailers such as Blinkit, BigBasket, Amazon, and Swiggy Instamart.

The Indian market has seen rapid expansion, with several alternative meat startups launching between 2019 and 2020 and numerous new players entering the market in 2020 and 2021.
India has become a significant consumer base for plant-based meats, with 63% of the population showing strong interest in daily consumption.
The compnay has been making moves this year.
For instance, Blue Tribe recently selected Singapore as the launch pad for its expansion into Southeast Asia.
With this expansion, Blue Tribe is aiming to tap into its expertise in South Asian culinary preferences to explore new opportunities in the global plant-based meat sector.
Singapore is becoming an increasingly popular hub for plant-based companies seeking to enter Asian markets, and Blue Tribe is making its debut with a lineup of products including plant-based chicken sausage, chicken nuggets, chicken keema, and mutton keema.
