Hershey appoints Natalie Rothman as Chief Human Resources Officer
Rothman brings more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience, including two previous CHRO roles and extensive service as a public and private company board member.
U.S.A. – The Hershey Company has announced the appointment of Natalie Rothman as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective August 18, 2025.
Rothman will lead Hershey’s global human resources strategy and operations, overseeing talent management, organizational development, diversity initiatives, and employee engagement.
She will report directly to President and Chief Executive Officer Kirk Tanner, who also officially began his tenure as CEO on the same day.
Rothman brings more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience, including two previous CHRO roles and extensive service as a public and private company board member.
She is widely recognized for building high-performing teams, modernizing HR operating models, and aligning people strategies with business objectives.
Her expertise spans frontline and hourly workforces across industries such as consumer products, retail, food service, automotive, and beauty, experience that will be instrumental as Hershey continues to grow its global footprint.

Before joining Hershey, Rothman served as CHRO at Inspire Brands, where she led initiatives to modernize HR operations by integrating business process automation and artificial intelligence tools, improving workforce efficiency and scalability.
Previously, at Advance Auto Parts, she directed comprehensive transformation programs designed to cultivate cultural change, grow leadership talent, and build organizational capabilities through technology-enabled solutions.
Rothman is also a member of the New York and New Jersey Bar and the Human Resources Policy Association. She serves on the boards of Udemy and Pearce Services, and participates on the Advisory Boards of Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and New Mountain Capital.
Her appointment signals Hershey’s continued investment in its people and culture.
