The expanded Casablanca–Dakar–Belgium corridor offers a direct supply chain bridge for European firms targeting West African markets.
AFRICA/EUROPE – Logidoo, the pan-African logistics company known for its cross-border trade network, has added Belgium to its growing Casablanca–Dakar corridor, creating a major route between Europe, North Africa, and West Africa.
The company announced the move in June 2025, confirming a partnership with a top Belgian logistics firm to manage a regular consolidation service linking Belgium, Morocco, and key West African destinations.
This effort responds to rising demand from European manufacturers and e-commerce companies seeking reliable entry points into African markets.
“The Belgium–Casablanca–Dakar corridor reflects our ambition to establish Morocco as a regional logistics hub, channeling and redistributing goods from Europe to West Africa,” said Tamsir Ousmane Traoré, CEO of Logidoo.
The new service includes parcel collection and drop-off across Belgium, scheduled groupage shipments at competitive rates, and a full suite of logistics offerings. These include customs clearance, warehousing, last-mile delivery, cash-on-delivery options, and remittance.
Morocco’s role as a strategic gateway
This development puts Morocco in a stronger position as a gateway for goods entering Africa from Europe. By using Casablanca as the core link between Belgium and Dakar, Logidoo is offering European businesses a smoother way to serve African customers.
With this expansion, Logidoo strengthens its model of combining international shipping with local delivery systems. It also brings more African destinations within reach for exporters based in Belgium and across Europe.
This builds on Logidoo’s ongoing work in eight African countries, where it has supported over 600 businesses with delivery and payment solutions. According to the company, the goal is to make it easier for firms to sell across borders without the usual delays or infrastructure problems.
Growth backed by technology and investment
In addition to the Belgium link, Logidoo is rolling out new tools to improve logistics on the continent. It recently secured a US$50,000 grant from Canada’s International Development Research Centre to develop AI-based systems for logistics.
These include smart route planning, early warning systems for vehicle breakdowns, and automation of routine processes.
The company also raised US$1.55 million in seed funding from investors across five African countries. This funding is going toward building its operations and expanding its logistics offerings.
Logidoo now works with over 3,000 logistics providers and has completed more than 100,000 delivery operations.
It has also introduced a tool called Afridoo, which makes it easier for African merchants to sell their goods online by connecting them directly to payment and delivery services.
As Traoré explains, “We are building logistics systems that support trade, not just transport. The focus is on giving businesses across Africa and Europe the tools they need to grow.”
