The legal team is set to fuel growth through creating the conditions for innovation and strong governance.

U.S.A. – Mars, a global leader in confectionery, snacking, food, and pet care products and services, has appointed Myriah Gambrell-Glenn as General Counsel for its Snacking business, effective December 1, 2025.

Based in Chicago, Gambrell-Glenn will lead the global legal function for Mars Snacking, which houses billion-dollar brands such as M&M’S and SNICKERS.

She will report to Andrew Clarke, Global President of Mars Snacking, with a dotted line to Stefanie Straub, Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of Mars Incorporated.

In her new role, Gambrell-Glenn will be responsible for shaping legal strategy, overseeing compliance, and managing risk across a business that employs more than 34,000 Associates, operates in over 150 countries, and sells more than 1,000 snacks every second.

Gambrell-Glenn brings over a decade of experience within Mars, having joined the company in 2010 and served in senior legal roles across multiple business segments and regions.

Most recently, she held the position of General Counsel for Mars Pet Nutrition, where she played a key role in integrating Champion Petfoods and Pretty Litter, two multibillion-dollar acquisitions completed in 2023 and 2021, respectively.

Andrew Clarke praised the appointment, stating, “Myriah’s pedigree speaks for itself. She has built an outstanding track record at Mars, combining deep legal expertise with strategic insight. Just as importantly, she is a dedicated people leader who has a keen ability to spot potential and turn it into performance.”

He added that this combination of skills will be invaluable as Mars continues to expand its global snacking presence while navigating increasingly complex legal and regulatory frameworks.

As part of her appointment, Gambrell-Glenn will join both the Mars Snacking Leadership Team and the Mars Legal Leadership Team, reinforcing her influence across the organization.

Reflecting on her new position, Gambrell-Glenn said: “I’m stepping into this role at a generational moment for our snacking business. It’s clear to me our legal team is uniquely positioned to be a strategic partner by enabling and accelerating our snacking growth agenda, creating the conditions for innovation to flourish at speed and scale while driving strong governance.”

She expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with colleagues, emphasizing her commitment to building on Mars Snacking’s momentum in the years ahead.
