NovaTaste expands customized taste solutions in Italy with Tec-Al acquisition

ITALY – NovaTaste, a global taste innovation company, has acquired Tec-Al srl, a renowned Italian producer of high-quality savory solutions, enhancing the combined group’s capacity to offer customized taste solutions to customers across Italy and Europe.

While the transaction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2025, the Tec-Al brand will continue to be operated seamlessly, with the existing management team retaining key roles within the new Italian entity of the NovaTaste group.

Situated in Traversetolo, near Parma in Italy, Tec-Al operates its business within a region renowned for its rich tradition and expertise in the food sector. 

The company employs around 25 people who develop and produce a wide range of dry taste and functional blends for food processors, butchers and convenience food customers.

Over the past 30 years, Tec-Al has established strong partnerships within the food industry, delivering savory solutions from a diverse portfolio of food ingredients, natural flavors, spices, marinades and aromatic herbs. 

Tec-Al’s success is attributed to its ability to address the challenges faced by food companies through highly customized products and services. 

By fostering close collaboration during the development and preparation phases of functional semi-finished food products, Tec-Al has positioned itself as the preferred co-creation partner for numerous Italian food producers.

NovaTaste has over 2,300 employees and supplies food manufacturers, butchers and foodservice players across Europe, North America and Asia.
