Leadership transition and digital transformation underscore PepsiCo’s strategic push for regional growth and AI-powered operational excellence.
AUSTRALIA – PepsiCo has announced the appointment of Alexia Horley as Chief Executive Officer for Australia and New Zealand Foods, effective July 21, 2025.
She succeeds Kyle Faulconer, who is returning to the United States to assume the role of Senior Vice President at PepsiCo North America Commercial.
Horley currently serves as General Manager of Australia Foods, a position she has held since February 2024.
She joined PepsiCo in 2005 and has since held multiple senior roles across Asia Pacific, including Chief Commercial Officer for Australia Foods and General Manager of Beverages for the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
Anne Tse, CEO of APAC Foods at PepsiCo, described Horley as an experienced and strategic leader with a deep understanding of the ANZ market.
“Alexia’s strong strategic mindset, relentless consumer focus and deep expertise in the ANZ retail landscape position her perfectly to lead the business forward,” said Tse.
Under Horley’s leadership as GM of Australia Foods, PepsiCo has expanded its manufacturing capabilities, including new multipack lines and an additional production facility for Red Rock Deli. These investments are aimed at supporting increased consumer demand and driving future growth.
“I’m honoured to step into the role of CEO and excited to lead such a passionate and talented team,” Horley said. “I’m committed to driving sustainable growth and continuing to deliver the best snacks to Aussie and Kiwi consumers.”
Concurrently, PepsiCo has revealed plans to implement Agentforce, Salesforce’s autonomous AI platform, as part of its global digital transformation strategy.
The initiative aims to modernize sales, service, and retail execution by deploying AI agents across customer service, field sales, marketing, and supply chain operations.
Agentforce is expected to automate routine workflows, improve data integration, and increase promotional precision.
According to PepsiCo, the AI deployment will enhance retail execution, streamline ecommerce, and elevate customer engagement across markets.
