Jack Daniel’s expands Country Cocktails line with hard tea offering

US – Jack Daniel’s, a brand owned by Brown-Forman, is set to broaden its line of Country Cocktails with the introduction of hard tea, catering to the growing demand for innovative beverage options.

The new Jack Daniel’s Country Cocktails Hard Tea promises a blend of black tea, authentic fruit flavors, and a perfectly balanced sweetness, offering consumers a bold and refreshing drinking experience.

Available in four flavors—Original, Peach, Raspberry, and Blackberry—the hard tea lineup aims to captivate consumers who appreciate the classic taste of tea infused with a twist of alcohol.

Keith Cunningham, VP of partnerships at Pabst, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with Brown-Forman and the iconic Jack Daniel’s brand.

He highlighted the unique attributes of the hard tea, which pays homage to its southern roots while offering consumers a fresh and modern take on the traditional beverage.

“All four of our great flavors each shine in their own way. It’ll be hard to choose a favorite, but every flavor is guaranteed to deliver a smooth, bright, and refreshing experience for consumers,” he said.

The new product will be available at retail and convenience stores in thirteen US states.

The launch of Jack Daniel’s hard tea comes at a strategic time, coinciding with the rapid growth of the global hard tea market, projected to reach USD 13.75 billion by 2030 with a notable compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 24.67 percent.

Hard tea, categorized under flavored malt beverages (FMB), blends the timeless appeal of tea with the refreshing twist of alcohol, appealing to a wide range of consumer preferences.

As per the Federal Alcohol Administration Act, malt beverages produced in the United States must adhere to specific guidelines, including a base comprised of at least 25 percent malt and a minimum inclusion of hops to ensure quality and consistency in the final product.
