The new Ikorodu manufacturing facility will produce beverages across five categories and support nationwide distribution while expanding the company’s regional footprint.

NIGERIA – Bogo Beverages has commissioned a new N20 billion (US$13 million) manufacturing facility in Ikorodu, Lagos, significantly expanding its production capacity and strengthening its position in Nigeria’s fast-growing beverage industry.
The company said the investment reflects its long-term commitment to local manufacturing, job creation, and regional market expansion.
The new factory has an 80,000-capacity production line and will manufacture a diverse portfolio of carbonated soft drinks, juices, spirits, bitters, and bottled water.
By producing across five beverage categories from a single site, Bogo Beverages aims to improve operational efficiency while meeting growing consumer demand across Nigeria and neighbouring markets.
The facility is expected to generate more than 10,000 direct and indirect jobs across production, logistics, distribution, retail, and other supporting sectors throughout the beverage value chain.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Bogo Beverages Chief Executive Officer Godwin Oche described the investment as a major milestone for the company’s long-term growth strategy.
“This factory gives us the opportunity to capture value across multiple categories, accelerate our growth, and rebuild our business model around scale, efficiency, and local capacity,” Oche said.
He added that the investment extends beyond manufacturing by creating value for the company’s broader stakeholder network.
“More importantly, it allows us to deliver value to all our stakeholders, from our employees and distributors to our consumers, host community, and shareholders,” he said.
According to Oche, the factory’s strategic location in Ikorodu provides direct access to Lagos, Nigeria’s largest consumer market, while also supporting the company’s wider distribution ambitions across the country and into regional markets.
He noted that the facility will serve as the operational base for both domestic sales and the company’s international operations in Ghana and Kenya.
“Production begins immediately, with products expected on shelves across the country in the coming weeks,” Oche said.
Bogo Beverages manufactures, markets, and distributes a growing portfolio of beverages, including carbonated soft drinks, juices, spirits, bitters, and bottled water.
In addition to its proprietary brands, the company also distributes several internationally recognised wine, cognac, and whisky brands, supporting its strategy to strengthen its presence in Nigeria and other African markets.
