The expansion includes advanced bottle-moulding technology, a regional distribution center, and the creation of 200 new jobs.

USA – Danone North America has unveiled a US$65 million expansion at its manufacturing facility in Jacksonville, Florida, with a new production line launched on June 17, 2025.
The investment extends the plant’s footprint to 115,025 square feet and supports growing demand for the company’s coffee and creamer brands, including International Delight and STōK Cold Brew Coffee.
The state-of-the-art production line features a customized bottle-moulding system designed to enhance manufacturing efficiency, sustainability, and output.
According to Danone, this innovation will reduce bottle loss by 30% and minimize water consumption while enabling the creation of new recyclable bottles.
Dan Magliocco, President of Danone North America, said the expansion reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to U.S. manufacturing and economic development.
“We are proud to be expanding our operations in Jacksonville and creating new jobs and opportunities in the local community,” he said. “This investment aligns with our mission to serve consumers and support local communities as we continue to grow and innovate.”
In addition to production upgrades, Danone also announced the development of a regional distribution center in Jacksonville.
The new hub is intended to boost supply chain efficiency and expand product availability across the country by reducing delivery times from production to shelf.
Together, the expanded facility and distribution center are expected to generate approximately 200 new direct and indirect jobs in Northeast Florida. Local leaders welcomed the move, highlighting its potential economic impact.
“By investing millions of dollars in our economy and creating 200 jobs locally, Danone is demonstrating its long-term commitment to Northeast Florida,” said Aaron Bean, Representative of Florida’s 4th District.
The investment comes amid rapid growth in the cold brew coffee market, which is projected to rise from under US$500 million in 2022 to US$3.11 billion by 2030, according to data from Skyquest.
Danone North America stated that 90% of its products are manufactured domestically, reinforcing the company’s goal of maintaining a self-reliant U.S.-based supply chain.
