Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages appoints new senior leaders to drive supply chain, commercial and people strategy 

HCCB strengthens leadership bench with key appointments across supply chain, commercial, HR and strategy functions.

INDIA – Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), one of India’s leading fast-moving consumer goods companies, has announced a series of senior leadership appointments across critical functions as it sharpens its focus on execution excellence and long-term growth. 

The appointments span supply chain, commercial operations, people and culture, strategy, and transformation. The newly named leaders include Avinash Kant Kumar as Head of Integrated Supply Chain, Vinay Nair as Chief Commercial Officer, Ritesh Pratap Singh as Chief Human Resources Officer, Sunaina Dhanuka as Head of Strategy, and Girish Sivaraman as Vice President – Commercial Transformation. 

“These leadership appointments reflect our focus on building strong execution capabilities across supply chain, commercial, and people functions,” said Hemant Rupani, Chief Executive Officer of Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages.  

“As we continue to strengthen execution rigor, deepen organisational capability, and enable scale across our value chain, these leaders will play a critical role in shaping HCCB’s next phase of growth.” 

As Head of Integrated Supply Chain, Avinash Kant Kumar will oversee supply chain operations with a focus on resilience, efficiency, and scalability. He brings more than three decades of experience across supply chain, procurement, and operations.  

Kumar joins HCCB from Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd., where he served as president, and has previously held leadership roles at McCain Foods, Reliance Retail, Al Foah, and Procter & Gamble. 

Vinay Nair has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer and will lead HCCB’s commercial strategy, execution discipline, and growth across channels and markets. He brings 25 years of experience within the Coca-Cola system and is recognised for building strong partnerships and enhancing market presence. 

Ritesh Pratap Singh joins HCCB as Chief Human Resources Officer, where he will lead the company’s people and culture agenda, with a focus on organisational capability, leadership depth, and fostering a high-performance culture.  

Singh joins from Tata Projects, where he served as CHRO, and has previously held senior roles at Tata Trusts and IHCL (Taj Hotels). This appointment marks his return to HCCB, where he earlier held multiple HR leadership roles. 

Sunaina Dhanuka has been elevated to Head of Strategy, in addition to her role as Chief of Staff to the CEO. In her expanded role, she will drive HCCB’s growth and transformation agenda. Dhanuka has held diverse leadership positions within the Coca-Cola system across ASEAN and South Pacific markets and has worked with organisations including Unilever, Macquarie, Morgan Stanley, and Arthur Andersen. 

Girish Sivaraman has been appointed Vice President – Commercial Transformation and will lead initiatives focused on go-to-market excellence, sales effectiveness, and capability building.  

His appointment marks a return to HCCB, following senior roles at Mondelez International, Pepsi, Varun Beverages, Britannia, and Vodafone. 

HCCB said the strengthened leadership team will be instrumental in driving execution excellence, organisational resilience, and long-term value creation as the company operates in an increasingly dynamic consumer environment.
