Löfbergs names Kieran Youngman as Chief Commercial Officer to lead international growth

Swedish coffee roaster Löfbergs appoints FMCG veteran Kieran Youngman as CCO to drive growth in key European markets.

SWEDEN – Swedish coffee roaster Löfbergs has announced the appointment of Kieran Youngman as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

He will officially assume the role in September, tasked with leading commercial growth across the company’s Business Area West, which includes markets such as the UK and Denmark.

Youngman brings over two decades of international experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, with a career spanning leadership positions at major global companies.

He has held senior roles at Danone and Procter & Gamble, and most recently served as General Manager for the Nordics and Northern Europe at The Livekindly Collective.

Löfbergs’ CEO, Anders Fredriksson, welcomed the appointment, highlighting Youngman’s extensive expertise and strategic insight. “Kieran is a key addition to our growth journey,” Fredriksson said.

“He combines experience from multinational corporations and fast-growing companies, with deep knowledge of our priority markets and a strong passion for sustainability.”

In his remarks, Youngman described the new role as an exciting opportunity to help expand the reach of an iconic coffee brand. “Löfbergs represents a unique combination of a heritage coffee company, a clear commitment to sustainability, and a bold ambition for international growth,” he said.

“I look forward to contributing to the company’s expansion and further strengthening its commercial capabilities and culture.”

The appointment forms part of Löfbergs’ long-term strategy to enhance its international footprint while continuing to build a sustainable and value-driven coffee business.

Founded in 1906 and still family-owned, the company is one of the largest coffee roasters in the Nordic region.

Löfbergs operates under three brands – Löfbergs, Peter Larsen Kaffe, and Kobbs – with products available in more than ten markets.

Earlier this year, it completed the full acquisition of Danish coffee roaster Peter Larsen Kaffe after previously holding a 50% stake. In 2021, the company invested $227 million in a state-of-the-art roasting facility at its Karlstad headquarters.
