Trieste Coffee Experts 2025 returns on December 6-7 in Italy
Biennial summit in Italy’s coffee capital tackles Industry 5.0, blockchain, circular economy and climate resilience.
ITALY – Trieste is gearing up to host the 2025 edition of Trieste Coffee Experts, the influential biennial summit organised by family-owned roaster Bazzara, on December 6-7 at the Savoia Excelsior Palace.
The event, established in 2014, has become a cornerstone gathering for the global coffee community, bringing together producers, roasters, and supply-chain professionals to exchange knowledge and address critical industry challenges.
The 2023 summit, themed “Future Coffee: Innovation & Sustainability,” featured in-depth case studies and set high expectations for the upcoming gathering.
Under the theme “Coffee Megatrends,” the 2025 programme will examine transformative forces shaping the sector, including Industry 5.0, blockchain traceability, circular-economy models, and strategies to combat climate change.
Organisers aim to equip attendees with actionable insights for sustainable growth amid evolving environmental and technological pressures.
The two-day schedule includes expert-led talks, panel discussions, and workshops focused on innovation, sustainability, and digital solutions across the coffee value chain.
New additions for 2025 include the “Coffee General Assembly,” a high-level dialogue featuring presidents of Italy’s major coffee associations to chart the future of Made-in-Italy excellence, and the “Roasters’ Think Tank,” an exclusive forum uniting roasters from across the country to brainstorm collaborative solutions.
Event director Andrea Bazzara highlighted the summit’s role in fostering dialogue: “Events like Trieste Coffee Experts provide essential spaces for culture and teamwork: places where, through debate, it is possible to share common challenges and identify joint solutions, especially in sensitive moments like the one our sector is experiencing.”
The summit forms part of Bazzara’s broader mission to promote coffee culture through publications, educational courses, and international initiatives.
