Revenue rises by 6.7%, driven by strategic acquisitions and internal restructuring

UAE – Ghitha Holding PJSC, a food company under International Holding Company (IHC), is posting a revenue of US$710 million (AED2.61 billion) for the first six months of 2025, reflecting a 6.7% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
The group’s gross profit during the half-year reached US$163 million (AED599.4 million), up from last year’s US$133 million (AED487.2 million), showing a 23% year-on-year rise.
This profit growth is being attributed to Ghitha’s shift towards a strategy focused on margins, which the company says has guided its latest operational and commercial decisions.
According to Chief Executive Officer Falal Ameen, the results are linked to both internal efficiency gains and the impact of acquisitions completed in recent quarters.
He noted that the company is continuing to adjust its operations by focusing more on higher-yield customer segments, reviewing pricing approaches, and scaling up areas that consistently generate strong returns.
As part of its operational overhaul, the group also launched the SAP S/4HANA system during the reporting period, with the aim of strengthening its digital infrastructure to support future expansion and food security initiatives.
Alongside digital transformation, Ghitha Holding has been active in mergers and acquisitions, particularly within the protein sector, where it continues to grow its presence.
In the first half of 2025, its subsidiary Al Ain Farms completed the purchase of Al Jazira Poultry Farm, a UAE-based company known for its egg and poultry production.
This follows Ghitha’s 2024 acquisition of Arabian Farms and points to a continued focus on building scale in high-demand product categories.
By expanding its footprint in poultry and other food segments, the company is aligning its growth strategy with domestic supply chain goals and consumer demand patterns.
Looking ahead, Ghitha plans to maintain momentum through more acquisitions and deeper integration across its supply and distribution networks.
