Giordano’s Egyptian Branch expands production capabilities

EGYPT – The Egyptian division of Giordano Global, operating as Eddygypt Giordano Poultry Plast, is enhancing its production infrastructure in 2025.

Following last year’s installation of a 1400-ton Haitian injection molding machine, the facility has introduced two additional Haitian machines with capacities of 1000 tons and 380 tons to support growing international demand.

The new equipment is expected to improve product consistency and precision, allowing the company to maintain reliable standards across its range of plastic poultry equipment.

Increased production capacity is projected to accelerate delivery times, reducing lead periods for orders and enabling quicker response to market requirements.

The expansion also aims to improve the stability of the supply chain by ensuring a more consistent flow of products to global partners and minimizing disruptions in production.

Energy-efficient features of the machines are intended to reduce environmental impact while sustaining high manufacturing standards.

The strategic investment is part of Giordano’s effort to maintain operational efficiency and supply premium plastic equipment to poultry sectors worldwide.

Meanwhile, Egypt is actively seeking to strengthen agricultural collaboration with Kuwait, focusing on livestock, fish farming, and meat-related industries.

A meeting between Alaa Farouk, Egypt’s Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and Mohamed Gaber Abou El Wafa, the country’s new ambassador to Kuwait, explored joint investment opportunities and potential business ventures in agriculture.

Farouk highlighted Egypt’s growing capabilities in livestock production, veterinary medicines, and aquaculture, emphasizing the country’s rapid expansion in poultry farming and fish production.

He presented these sectors as promising areas for Kuwaiti investors aiming for stable and profitable agricultural projects.

The minister also outlined improvements in disease management, veterinary services, and meat processing that could support Kuwait’s strategy for securing its food supply.

Plans were proposed for a Kuwaiti delegation to visit Egypt to examine agricultural facilities and investment prospects firsthand.

Ambassador Abou El Wafa indicated that agriculture will be a key focus during his tenure and expressed interest in translating discussions into actionable trade and investment initiatives.

Egyptian efforts to expand production capacity and international partnerships come at a time when Gulf countries are seeking reliable sources of livestock and aquaculture products to meet rising regional demand.
