Deal expected to close in Q4 2025 pending regulatory approvals

USA – Fortifi Food Processing Solutions has signed a definitive agreement to purchase Provisur Technologies, a company that supplies further processing equipment to the global protein sector.
The deal is part of Fortifi’s wider strategy to expand its offerings into full-line solutions that combine automation, robotics and software.
Fortifi chief executive officer Massimo Bizzi said the agreement marks an important step for the company as it looks to extend its product range across different parts of the protein value chain.
He added that joining with Provisur would expand its application expertise and geographical reach, while aiming to enhance customer service and operational results.
Through the acquisition, Fortifi expects to broaden its role in processing areas such as grinding, forming, slicing and tumbling technologies.
Provisur operates a portfolio of brands including AM2C, Beehive, Cashin, Formax, Hoegger, Lutetia and Weiler, which are already established in the processing sector.
Josh Weisenbeck, partner at KKR and board member of Fortifi, said the move is aligned with Fortifi’s plan to build a global platform in food processing automation.
He noted that Provisur’s brands and technical knowledge will strengthen Fortifi’s standing in further processing and support its aim of supplying integrated solutions worldwide.
According to Fortifi, Provisur’s existing customer network and service operations will also allow it to improve equipment performance, reduce downtime and extend machine lifecycles across different processing plants.
Provisur president Brian Perkins stated that the company’s progress has been shaped by customer focus and innovation, and that the transaction represents a new phase in its growth.
He said that becoming part of Fortifi would increase the reach of Provisur’s technologies while aligning with both firms’ long-term vision for the food processing industry.
The transaction remains subject to standard regulatory clearances and is scheduled to be finalised in the fourth quarter of 2025.
