Fabelle expands its premium chocolate portfolio with a 64% dark cocoa range made from Ghana origin cocoa, targeting rising demand for richer, transparent, and lower-sugar indulgence options.

INDIA – Fabelle Chocolates, the premium chocolate brand from ITC Limited, has launched a new 64 percent dark chocolate range as it targets rising consumer demand for richer cocoa taste, ingredient transparency, and more mindful indulgence.
The company said the new range is made using Ghana origin cocoa, valued for its distinct aroma and flavour profile. It added that the products are developed through specialised sourcing practices, ultra-fine particle technology, and extended conching processes designed to improve flavour depth, texture, and mouthfeel.
“With Fabelle, we are shaping a more refined chocolate culture that reflects how consumers want to indulge today,” said Subash Balar, Business Head – Confectionery, Chocolates & Coffee, ITC Ltd.
He noted that consumers are increasingly prioritising transparency, balance, and choice while maintaining indulgence.
The new range includes a selection of dark chocolate bars and pralines designed to offer varied flavour experiences. Cranberry Noir combines dark chocolate with cranberry notes, while Orange Eclipse blends cocoa with subtle citrus flavour tones.
The lineup also includes a No Added Sugar Dark Chocolate Bar aimed at consumers seeking a purer cocoa experience.
The portfolio has also been expanded with Dark Symphony, a box of 10 handcrafted pralines made without added sugar. The assortment features ingredients such as almond, macadamia, pecan, hazelnut, and pistachio, offering layered flavour combinations built around dark chocolate.
ITC said the introduction reflects its broader strategy to expand its premium confectionery segment in line with changing consumer preferences, particularly the growing shift toward dark chocolate and reduced-sugar products.
The company noted that industry data shows dark chocolate consumption in India has more than doubled over the past five years, outpacing traditional milk chocolate categories, while demand for no added sugar products continues to accelerate.
The Fabelle 64 percent Dark Chocolate range will be available at Fabelle boutiques in select cities and through the brand’s official online platform.
