25-year cocoa veteran succeeds Manna Joseph, pledges sustainable growth with farmers and dynamic team.

Cameroon – ofi (olam food ingredients) Cameroon has named Nchue Ngochuzeh Cletus as its new Country Head, effective August 2025.
The 49-year-old succeeds Manna Joseph, who has moved to a new position within the group in Côte d’Ivoire. A native of Cameroon’s Northwest Region, Cletus brings over 25 years of experience in cocoa procurement and operations management.
He joined ofi Cameroon years ago and progressed through the ranks to serve as Country Procurement Head, overseeing the full cocoa supply chain from farmer sourcing to cleaning and export.
Cletus holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Economics from the University of Buea and a Master of Science in Operations Management from the University of Salford, UK. He has also completed executive leadership programmes at MIT, Yale University, and Dartmouth College.
On his appointment, Cletus stated: “It is an honour to serve as Country Head for ofi Cameroon. I look forward to working closely with our teams, farmers, and local partners to continue creating positive impact and driving sustainable growth. We have a very strong foundation and relationships built on trust with our stakeholders. Coupled with a young and dynamic team, we will continue to deliver quality ingredients to ofi’s customers and attain new heights.”
Active in community development, Cletus volunteers in projects supporting youth empowerment and rural advancement.
