If approved, this deal will significantly strengthen AD Ports Group’s footprint in the maritime logistics sector within the region.
The anchor commitments from EGA, EMSTEEL, Al Ghurair Iron & Steel, and Tenaris validate the network’s commercial viability.
The consortium is also expected to create greater opportunities for participation by locally based small and medium-sized shipyards.
This acquisition integrates MBS Logistics, an established European ground network, with AD Ports Group’s maritime and port assets.
AD Ports Group said the project could create up to 9,000 jobs directly and indirectly during construction and operational phases.
