The finance executive brings more than 16 years of experience as UAC Foods strengthens its focus on operational excellence and long-term value creation.

NIGERIA – UAC Foods Limited, a subsidiary of UAC of Nigeria Plc (UACN), has appointed Temitope Omodele as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
Her appointment marks a leadership transition aimed at advancing the company’s growth, innovation and operational excellence agenda.
The company said Omodele’s appointment signals a new phase in its development as it continues to focus on sustainable growth, enhanced operational performance and long-term value creation across its food business.
Omodele succeeds to the top leadership role after serving as Chief Financial Officer of UAC Foods, where she was responsible for overseeing the company’s finance function and supporting key strategic initiatives.
Her promotion reflects a career progression that has seen her hold several senior finance and leadership positions within the UAC group.
Before joining UAC of Nigeria Plc in September 2020, Omodele began her professional career at KPMG, where she built expertise in audit, assurance and financial reporting.
During her tenure, she was seconded to the Department of Professional Practice at KPMG South Africa, gaining international exposure to accounting standards and professional methodologies.
She joined UAC as Technical Accounting and Reporting Lead before advancing to Senior Vice President of Finance. In that role, she oversaw group-wide finance operations and reporting for the holding company and also served as a Non-Executive Director on the board of Livestock Feeds Plc, another UACN subsidiary.
Her subsequent appointment as Chief Financial Officer of UAC Foods expanded her responsibilities beyond finance, providing direct exposure to business operations, brand strategy, supply chain management and profit-and-loss accountability.
Omodele brings more than 16 years of experience spanning audit and assurance, technical accounting, corporate finance, budgeting, business planning, finance operations and group reporting.
She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos and an MBA from Lagos Business School.
UAC Foods traces its origins to a joint venture established in 2010 between UAC of Nigeria Plc and South African food company Tiger Brands. In 2021, UACN acquired Tiger Brands’ minority stake, taking full ownership of the business and assuming complete strategic control of its operations.
The leadership appointment comes as UAC of Nigeria Plc continues to deliver strong financial performance.
For the year ended December 31, 2025, the group reported a 73% increase in revenue to ₦340.47 billion (US$245.14 million), while operating profit rose 51% to ₦28.50 billion (US$20.52 million), supported by improved operational efficiency and stronger performance across its business segments.
