Vita Coco raises 2025 outlook as strong Q3 sales, profits boost confidence

Vita Coco upgrades full-year guidance after posting strong third-quarter sales growth driven by coconut water demand.

USA – The Vita Coco Company has increased its full-year 2025 financial guidance following strong third-quarter performance, supported by continued growth in its flagship coconut water brand and the rollout of new product offerings.

The U.S. beverage company now anticipates net sales between US$580 million and US$595 million, up from its previous projection of US$565 million to US$580 million.

According to the company, the revised forecast reflects “projected Vita Coco Coconut Water growth of high teens and the benefit of Vita Coco Treats rollout.”

Adjusted EBITDA expectations have also been revised upward to a range of US$90 million to US$95 million, compared with prior estimates of US$86 million to US$92 million.

Co-founder and Executive Chairman Michael Kirban highlighted the positive momentum in the coconut water segment. “The coconut water category continues to be one of the fastest-growing categories in the beverage aisle, with Vita Coco Coconut Water maintaining strong retail sales growth rates in the United States and our core international markets,” he stated.

Kirban added that category expansion is being supported by investments aimed at increasing household penetration and broadening consumption occasions, positioning the business for continued long-term growth into 2026 and beyond.

For the quarter ended 30 September 2025, net sales rose 37% to US$182 million, driven by higher case volumes of Vita Coco Coconut Water and contributions from the company’s Other category, which benefited from the U.S. launch of Vita Coco Treats, a coconut-milk-based beverage line. Sales from the core coconut water brand alone increased 42% in the period.

Net income for the quarter climbed 26.3% to US$24 million, while adjusted EBITDA increased 39.1% to US$32 million. Chief Executive Officer Martin Roper noted the strong shipment performance during the quarter was fueled by robust demand and effective commercial execution.

“Our increased full-year net sales guidance is based on this momentum, and on delivering high-teens Vita Coco Coconut Water full-year growth,” he said.

Roper added that despite higher tariff rates, sustained revenue momentum and operational discipline supported the upward revision in adjusted EBITDA expectations.

In its full-year 2024 results, the company reported net sales of US$516 million, up 5%, with net income rising 19% to US$56 million. Adjusted EBITDA for the same period increased nearly 23.5% to US$84 million.
