QATAR – Gulf Warehousing Company has launched a fully operational air-to-land logistics corridor, using the TIR system to enable cargo arriving at Hamad International Airport to move across GCC borders under a single customs document, combining the speed of air freight with the efficiency of sealed cross-border trucking.
The corridor enables Doha to serve as a regional air-to-land redistribution hub, supporting supply chain continuity across the GCC.
TIR System and Customs Simplification
Supported by the TIR system, cargo moves under a single customs document and guarantee, reducing border delays, minimizing re-inspection requirements, and improving delivery predictability across the region.
The model allows shipments to be rapidly redistributed from a single entry point, reducing reliance on disrupted traditional routing structures and enabling more flexible movement across markets without incurring the cost of full air-to-air routing.

By integrating air freight with cross-border road transport, the model delivers the speed of air freight at a fraction of the cost of air-to-air routing, without affecting delivery timelines.
