Coca-Cola’s North America president to step down

Jennifer Mann will step down as Coca-Cola’s North America president in August, with CFO John Murphy assuming interim leadership while the company searches for a successor.

NORTH AMERICA – The Coca-Cola Company has announced that Jennifer Mann will step down as Executive Vice President and President of its North America Operating Unit, effective August 1, 2026, ending a 29-year career with the beverage giant.

The company said John Murphy, currently President and Chief Financial Officer, will assume responsibility for the North America Operating Unit on an interim basis from August 1 until a permanent successor is appointed.

Mann will remain with the company as a senior advisor through April 30, 2027, under a structured separation agreement.

A successor for the role of President, North America Operating Unit, will be announced at a later date.

Mann assumed leadership of Coca-Cola’s largest operating unit on January 1, 2023, with a mandate to accelerate growth as a purpose-driven total beverage company. During her tenure, the North America Operating Unit delivered strong revenue and profit growth.

“I am grateful to Jennifer for her tremendous contributions to The Coca-Cola Company as an operator and leader,” said Henrique Braun, Chief Executive Officer. “Her people-first legacy remains in the many high-performing teams she’s led across the Coca-Cola business.”

Throughout her nearly three decades with Coca-Cola, Mann held a series of senior leadership positions across operations, commercial strategy and human resources.

From 2019 until assuming leadership of the North America Operating Unit, she served as President of Global Ventures, overseeing Costa Coffee and the company’s investment in Monster Beverage Corp.

Earlier, Mann served as Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer from 2017 to 2019. She also worked as Chief of Staff to James Quincey from 2015 to 2018 during his tenure as President and Chief Operating Officer and later as Chief Executive Officer.

Between 2012 and 2015, Mann served as Vice President and General Manager of Coca-Cola Freestyle, where she helped accelerate the global expansion of the beverage dispensing platform.

Her previous roles also included Vice President of Foodservice & On-Premise Strategy and Marketing for Coca-Cola Refreshments, Director of McDonald’s Customer & Consumer Operations, and Director of Good Answer.

Mann joined The Coca-Cola Company in 1997 as a manager in the National Customer Support division in North America.

In addition to her executive responsibilities, Mann serves on the boards of Verizon Communications, the American Beverage Association, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Coca-Cola FEMSA, fairlife LLC, Morehouse College and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
