Groupe Berkem achieves breakthrough validation for its grape seed extract nutraceutical

FRANCE – Groupe Berkem has announced compelling human trial results for Biombalance™, a grape seed extract developed for the nutraceutical market under its BeGrape™ range. 

Sourced from carefully selected grapes in France’s Champagne region, Biombalance™ has become the first and only grape seed extract clinically proven to promote gut health and overall quality of life.

Two recent clinical studies, a human pilot study and a randomized study vs. placebo, confirm Biombalance™’s rapid and long-lasting digestive benefits. 

In the pilot study, over 90% of participants reported effectiveness in managing gastrointestinal (GI) discomfort. In the placebo-controlled trial, nearly 8 in 10 consumers experienced significant relief from symptoms such as gas, bloating, and abdominal distension.

Overall satisfaction and trust were high: over 80% of consumers (up to 98% in the pilot study) expressed confidence in Biombalance™, citing strong purchase intent (74%) and willingness to recommend (77%).
