Lindt unveils new dessert-inspired chocolate bars for UK consumers

Consumer insights underscore the timeliness of these launches with 55% of UK consumers preferring chocolate as their post-meal indulgence between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.

UK – Lindt & Sprüngli has launched a new range of chocolate bars in the UK, further strengthening its reputation as a pioneer of premium indulgence.

The additions to the Les Grandes and Creation ranges highlight the company’s focus on elevating the post-meal chocolate experience, a moment that consumer research identifies as one of the nation’s favorite times for sweet treats.

The latest Les Grandes Fruit & Nut bar embodies Lindt’s craftsmanship, combining perfectly roasted hazelnuts and juicy raisins with smooth Swiss milk chocolate.

This reimagined take on the classic nut bar is designed to satisfy consumers who desire both texture and flavor complexity in their chocolate. By marrying traditional appeal with a premium finish, the Les Grandes line reaffirms its role as a staple for chocolate lovers seeking depth in every bite.

Alongside this launch, Lindt’s Creation range has been expanded with innovative new flavors, including Hazelnut Wafer and Caramel, joining popular classics such as Crème Brûlée and Pistachio Delight.

Each bar in the Creation collection is crafted to capture the essence of indulgent desserts, offering a sophisticated alternative to everyday chocolate and reinforcing Lindt’s positioning as the brand of choice for moments of luxury.

Consumer insights underscore the timeliness of these launches. Research commissioned by Lindt found that 55 percent of UK consumers prefer chocolate as their post-meal indulgence, with the evening hours between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. being the most popular for consumption.

Furthermore, 42 percent of respondents said they favored chocolate over other dessert options, while 40 percent revealed a growing appetite for unique textures and flavors.

Stefan Bruderer, master chocolatier at Lindt, said the findings informed the development of the new bars: “Our research revealed that 40% of the UK prefers unique tastes and textures in their chocolate. We pride ourselves on delivering the best quality and taste with our iconic Swiss chocolate, and we’re excited to expand our Les Grandes and Creation lines to elevate that experience.”

The new chocolate bars are now available nationwide at major retailers, including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Asda, and Ocado, priced at £4.75 (US$6.14). This strategy ensures accessibility while maintaining Lindt’s premium identity.

In addition to taste innovation, Lindt continues to reinforce its commitment to sustainable cocoa sourcing through the Lindt & Sprüngli Farming Program, launched in 2008, ensuring every indulgent bite also supports responsible practices.
