Nexture unveils high-precision production line in Italy to elevate ingredient innovation

The facility incorporates Industry 4.0 standards, including digital integration, product-centric design, and high automation.

ITALY – Nexture, the industrial-tech holding company behind CSM Ingredients and Italcanditi, has officially launched a state-of-the-art high-precision mixing and packaging line at its Parma facility in Italy.

The new installation marks a significant leap in production capacity, quality control, and sustainability for the company’s dry mix portfolio.

With an annual capacity of up to 11,000 tons, the new line is dedicated to producing CSM Ingredients’ dry mixes for the baking and pastry sectors.

These include bread mixes, roll and pastry improvers, Panettone blends, and sponge cake solutions.

By integrating cutting-edge automation and proprietary technology, the line ensures consistent quality, high efficiency, and flexible output across large volumes.

“This new line in Parma represents another important milestone in Nexture’s journey of growth,” said Gabriele Del Torchio, CEO of Nexture.

“It’s an emblem of our capacity to combine industrial tradition, technological innovation, and sustainability in an increasingly dynamic international landscape.”

The Parma site, also home to HIFOOD, a centre of excellence for clean-label ingredients, is now further positioned as a European hub for advanced ingredient solutions.

The facility incorporates Industry 4.0 standards, including digital integration, product-centric design, and high automation, all aimed at enhancing safety, traceability, and operational excellence.

Victor Rodriguez Perez, Chief Operations Officer of CSM Ingredients Group, emphasized the strategic importance of the expansion: “This is a forward-looking step that combines industrial excellence with the innovation and flexibility our clients and partners expect.”

The site features fully automated processes, proprietary technology, QR code labelling for traceability, and a photovoltaic system that supplies 77% of its electricity needs.

Locally sourced raw materials are also prioritized, reinforcing Nexture’s commitment to responsible sourcing and environmental stewardship.

The launch strengthens Nexture’s footprint in Italy and its ability to serve global markets with precision-formulated ingredients.

As demand for high-quality, clean-label, and functional food solutions continues to grow, the new line positions the company to meet evolving consumer and industry needs.

With this investment, Nexture continues to redefine ingredient manufacturing, merging tradition with innovation to deliver excellence across the food value chain.
