Ultimum Limited’s new Aba facility aims to expand Razzl production, create jobs and strengthen supply chains while supporting Abia State’s industrialisation and Nigeria’s growing beverage market.

NIGERIA – Ultimum Limited is set to commission a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Aba, Abia State, as it expands its footprint in Nigeria’s fast-moving consumer goods beverage sector.
Located in the Osisioma industrial cluster, the facility will serve as the main production hub for the company’s Razzl brand of carbonated soft drinks. The product range includes four variants: Pamplemousse, Cola, Orange and Lemon.
According to the company, the plant is equipped with modern technology designed to enhance production efficiency, ensure product consistency and meet international quality standards.
The facility is expected to improve product accessibility for consumers across the South-East, South-South and other regions of Nigeria.
The Aba plant is also projected to create hundreds of direct and indirect jobs across technical, administrative and distribution roles, contributing to economic activity within the region.
In addition, the investment is expected to generate opportunities for local and national suppliers, logistics providers and other businesses across the value chain.
By establishing local production, Ultimum Limited aims to strengthen its supply chain network, including distributors, wholesalers and retailers operating across its target markets.
The investment aligns with the Abia State Government’s industrialisation agenda and supports Aba’s position as a growing manufacturing hub in Nigeria. The development is also expected to contribute to improved infrastructure and access to social services for residents in the state.
Speaking ahead of the commissioning, managing director Austin Ufomba said the facility reflects the company’s confidence in Nigeria’s potential.
“Nigerians are some of the most hardworking and resilient people in the world, and they deserve high-quality beverages that truly refresh, energise, and support their everyday aspirations,” he said.
He added: “At Ultimum Limited, our purpose is to consistently produce world-class beverages that refresh Nigerians while also meeting the highest standards of quality, safety, and taste.”
Ufomba further emphasised the broader impact of the investment, stating: “We have not just built a new factory; but we have also created the capacity to deliver real refreshment at scale, empower communities, and set new benchmarks for manufacturing excellence.”
The commissioning of the Aba facility marks a significant step in Ultimum Limited’s growth strategy, as it continues to expand production capacity and strengthen its presence in Nigeria’s competitive beverage market.
