Licensees receive technical support and variety-specific growing protocols that optimize fruit quality, while Sun World benefits from expanded market reach without direct investment in regional operations.

GLOBAL – Sun World International is broadening its international footprint by forming new strategic partnerships with marketers and licensees in Italy, Peru, and the United States, strengthening its proprietary table grape brands.
The company said the new partners would support its proprietary grape brands, including Autumncrisp, and reflect a continued focus on building a strong partner network that can support premium fruit programmes with the right mix of commercial experience, regional strength, and supply chain reliability.
The new licensees include Barbera International, Organizzazione di Produttori Secondulfo, Top Fruit di Angela Colucci, Novello e C, La Vera, Green Farmers Group, OP Insieme Società Cooperativa Agricola, Az. Vitivinicola Casa di Grazia di Di Francesco Maria Grazia and OPAS Società Cooperativa Agricola in Italy; IQF del Perú, Sociedad Agrícola Drokasa, Campos del Sur and Danper Trujillo in Peru; and Vista Vineyards in the United States.
Furthermore, the licensing model creates value across the supply chain by ensuring that only qualified partners with demonstrated expertise in cultivation, packing, and marketing can access Sun World’s proprietary genetics.
Therefore, this system protects brand integrity by maintaining consistent quality standards from farm to retail. Licensees receive technical support and variety-specific growing protocols that optimize fruit quality, while Sun World benefits from expanded market reach without direct investment in regional operations.
“These additions reinforce the strength and value of the global pipeline we are building,” said vice president of global licensing, Pablo Ramirez.
“As branded fruit continues to gain momentum, we’re dedicated to creating new opportunities with partners who understand execution, consistency and the importance of protecting the consumer experience. That is what helps create lasting value across the supply chain.”
Moreover, genetics and innovation play a crucial role in premium grape branding by delivering varieties with superior flavour, texture, and shelf life, thereby differentiating Sun World’s offerings from commodity grapes.
“Sun World’s evolving partner base reflects a broader shift in branded fruit: success depends on more than great genetics. It requires a connected system with strong partnerships that can carry the grapes from development to production, from marketing to grocery shelf, and from first purchase to repeat purchase,” Sun World said.
Finally, through these diverse alliances, Sun World is establishing a more robust global pipeline to support the future of the table grape category.
