AGL said it operates with 24,000 employees across 47 countries, and more than 98% of its workforce is African.
The site is expected to support DSV’s operations across the GCC and the wider Middle East and Africa.
Previously, cargo destined for these markets often faced weeks of delays at congested ports, followed by unreliable road transport.
AGL also announced plans to establish a second Expertise Centre in Morocco, dedicated to industrial project logistics across Africa.
Authorities reported that the companies received administrative penalties and were subjected to what the Ministry described as “serious talks.”
