The facility is intended to support temperature-controlled handling and air cargo shipments.
The authority expects to post record revenues and a financial surplus in the current fiscal year, with growth projected to exceed 30%.
In the general cargo segment, Abidjan leads the region, with traffic reaching 46.6 million metric tons in 2025.
The expansion is expected to improve inland transport capacity and support cross-border trade routes.
